This module is the First of Three Courses and provides you with insight into The Basics of Producing Good Sound Recordings within the Film Industry.
 
Sound is one of the most powerful tools in your creative palette.
With the right music and sound effects, you can do everything from evoking locations to defining moods and building tension. In fact, in many ways, good sound is more important than good video.
 
In this module we will be focusing on the following: 
 
Providing insight into Selecting What to Record;
Providing insight into What Sound Is, and;
The ‘Properties’ and ‘Characteristics’ of Sound Waves.
